Dr. Monika Bogal specializes in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Bogal attended medical school at the State University of New York at Syracuse, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. She trained as an intern and resident at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she was recognized for her achievement and dedication as a Fellow in Cardiology. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in the subspecialty of Interventional Cardiology at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Bogal specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease. She has expertise in angioplasty and stent placement for the treatment of coronary and peripheral arterial blockages. She has published a review on coronary artery anomalies, and serves as a reviewer for the interventional cardiology board exam for the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition, her interests include heart disease in women, heart disease in pregnancy, angina and myocardial infarction (heart attack).

Dr. Bogal is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.

She holds appointments as Clinical Instructor in Medicine/Cardiology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Attending Physician in the Cardiovascular Institute at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Attending Physician in Cardiology and Medicine at Saint Vincent’s Hospital.

Dr. Bogal is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
